Date Night

My boyfriend, who recently moved to Chicago, came home this weekend to celebrate our lovely 2 year anniversary.  Long distance isn't easy, but it definitely makes you appreciate every moment you have together.

We went to La Creperie for dinner which was the perfect venue for our occasion. It was such a romantic setting and the bottle of wine we shared was delightful...I just wish my company could have stayed here longer. :) Even though his plane just took off, it's safe to say I miss him already.

Spring Fever

Spring has sprung and I am loving the colors that I am seeing. The pastels, the brights, the white jeans... ah there's nothing better. I am also loving the April showers going on here in California. Snuggling up reading a book while you hear the rain is probably my favorite activity.

 It seems as though right after a rainy day the California weather gods love to throw a week of sunshine our way... so April is really a win-win kind of month. Regardless... if there's rain or shine I plan on breaking out some colorful outfits this Spring.

  

Home Sweet Home

I love Pinterest solely based on the fact that you can create your dream house, wardrobe, recipes, vacations, life... you get the gist. I am currently saving my money so that I can get a place of my own and cannot wait to decorate it. All Saints

I have an obsession with the Brand All Saints Spitafields. When I visited Chicago last year I saw this store and instantly fell in love. Even though their pieces are a bit pricey, I walked in and it was like they designed the clothes with my taste and style in mind. Here are some outfits I put together using their pieces... I am dying to have it all.

Back

There is just something sexy about a woman showing off her back. I bet any guy would agree with this... after the tease of seeing your back from afar, they are dying to see and get to know the other side of you. I love breaking out my backless pieces for a night out. It instantly makes you feel desirable and free.

Headpieces

During my senior year of college I went to a fashion event where this woman was selling her handmade jewelry and she was wearing an awesome headpiece from her collection. It looked so cute on her so I had asked to tried it on... I am sooo regretting the fact that I didn't buy it right then and there.

I may have to go back and have her make me a custom one. I really want a metal one with a turquoise stone in it. Pair it with some cut-off shorts and a white tee. ahhh. I need it now.

Walk of Art

Lately, I have been seeing such unique shoes. Whether it be colorfully patterned or architecturally designed, shoes are becoming a major statement piece to complete your outfit. Let's face it we have our go to browns and blacks but now it's time to get playful with our every step.
