Working Girl

Okay... I know I have been MIA these days but only because I just started a new marketing job!! Woo I am a working girl and I am absolutely loving it!

I have been trying to think outside of the box on some corporate work wear and decided I would share a bit of my findings with you. Luckily for me its a pretty casual work environment but being that I love fashion it's only natural for me to kick it up a notch.

Out of all my purchases in life... Lucy was by far my best. They aren't kidding when they say your dog is your best friend and I have learned that with Lulu. I love her to pieces and felt that I couldn't have a blog without introducing her. So here she is:

 

Denim

Denim is the classic staple to any wardrobe. I love adding a denim vest to a dress and boots or wearing denim on denim... the look is always in style. I have been finding a lot of unique ways to wear your denim--from wearing it under a sweater to a cute summer romper. Below are a few of my denim inspirations.

Stars and Stripes

Happy Wednesday! I just wanted to share some awesome striped looks that I am fond of and a song by Ellie Goulding called Starry Eyed. Seriously, this song gets me going anytime of the day. Enjoy!

 

Lace

There is something about lace. Guys dig it and females just look stunning in it. I love how the color of the lace completely changes the overall feel of the outfit... with cream, you get a sense of flirty innocence while with the black it completely changes to a more mysterious and sexy look. I am a fan of both. I guess it just depends on your mood.

Minty Fresh

My color crush this season is mint. I love how the color can basically go with anything: yellow, red, blue.... you name it. Here are a couple of my favorite minty fresh looks.

Yep- In My White Tee

So I have this weird obsession with my white tees. I live in them and they are always my go to item in my closet. I feel like a white tee is a blank canvas that you can base your outfit around and I love the challenge. Tuck that baby in with some jeans and a belt and you my friend have an easy-breezy classic look.
