I love Audrey Hepburn's classy ways but I have always been told I kind of look like Ali MacGraw... so when I googled her I loved her style. Therefore I decided shes my go to lady.

Ali MacGraw
Lucky me.. this month Cosmopolitan decided to send me two versions of their June mag... the standard and Latinas one. At first I was like they make a Latina one? Then I was like how do they know I am half Mexican? Interesting... anyway, one of them (yes I read both) said to pick a fashion icon from the past which got me thinking who would I pick?

Guy Style
It's my little brothers 21st birthday!!! Happy birthday Carter :) I take pride in being his personal stylist, so in honor of his birthday I am going to give some tips that I think men should take note of. (which happens to be the same advice I gave to Carter throughout the years.)
Always go for straight legged jeans... bootcut just looks funky, in my opinion, (I mean really flared jeans on a dude... no thank you) be careful with the wash (when in doubt go dark) and leave out the add-on doodads... please let the only bling you buy be for your lady friend.
Flannels are great. I love them on a guy. They are comfortable and guys just look great in them. Plus it doesn't hurt when you throw Blake Shelton into one.
Shoes are big for women... and guys sometimes just don't get it. They think, "Hey my Kswiss are pretty awwwesome", but sorry big guy they aren't, and your gf is probably dying for you to change out of them. For an everyday relaxed style go for a nice looking sneaker like lace up Vans, Lacoste, Jack Purcell...just to name a few. These are the perfect touch to your going out to the bar kind of look.
When it comes to a mans wardrobe, less is more. Plain tees or button-downs under a simple jacket works like a charm.

That's pretty much my standard advice for the casual styled man. Hope you enjoyed and cheers Carter! First round is on me :)
